Our Story
Poker88 started with a straightforward belief: Malaysian players deserve an online gaming platform that actually understands them — one that speaks their language, accepts the payment methods they already use, and treats them with the respect and transparency they deserve.
The platform launched as a poker-centric room, catering to the thriving card-game community across Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, and Penang. Word spread quickly. Players appreciated the clean interface, reliable payouts, and the fact that they could fund their accounts directly through Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks, or Touch 'n Go eWallet — no awkward currency conversions, no hidden fees.
As the player base grew, so did the product. Poker88 expanded into live dealer casino games, bringing the baccarat and roulette experience that Malaysian players love into a fully digital, 24/7 accessible format. The sportsbook followed, covering EPL fixtures, Liga Super Malaysia matchdays, UFC events, and international tournaments — all with competitive odds and real-time in-play betting.
Today, Poker88 is a full-spectrum gaming platform serving players from Johor Bahru to Shah Alam, from Bangsar to Georgetown. We have processed millions of MYR in player deposits and withdrawals, and our VIP programme has rewarded thousands of loyal players with cashback, birthday bonuses, and dedicated account management. None of that happened by accident — it happened because we kept listening to what Malaysian players actually wanted.
The crypto evolution was a natural step. Bitcoin and USDT adoption in Malaysia has grown steadily, and Poker88 was early to embrace it. Today, players can deposit BTC or USDT TRC-20 within minutes, with near-zero transaction fees and maximum financial privacy. We combine the convenience of local e-wallets with the freedom of decentralised finance — a combination that sets Poker88 apart from older, slower platforms.
Our commitment to responsible gambling has always been a core part of who we are. We enforce 21+ age verification, provide self-exclusion tools, deposit limits, and session time controls — and we actively promote awareness of problem gambling resources like Talian Kasih 15999. We believe that sustainable, healthy gaming is the only kind worth building a platform around.
Poker88 by the Numbers
Poker88 is strictly for adults aged 21 and above. We verify every account before processing withdrawals. Underage gambling is illegal and we take this responsibility seriously.
Our Journey
Key milestones that shaped Poker88 into the platform you use today.
Our Mission & Values
The principles that guide every decision we make at Poker88.
Our mission is to provide Malaysian players with the most reliable, transparent, and enjoyable online gaming experience available — supported by local payment infrastructure, fair game mechanics, and genuine player care that goes beyond the transactional.
Integrity First
We publish RTP figures, enforce transparent bonus terms, and never use dark patterns to obscure wagering requirements or withdrawal conditions. What you see is what you get.
Player-Centric Design
Every feature we build — from DuitNow instant deposits to mobile-optimised live casino — starts with the question: does this make things easier for Malaysian players? If the answer is no, we go back to the drawing board.
Local Understanding
We know that a player in Johor Bahru and a player in Penang might have different preferences and different bank relationships. That's why we support ten payment methods and serve players nationwide — no one is an afterthought.
Responsible Growth
We grow sustainably by retaining happy, healthy players — not by chasing short-term acquisition at the expense of player wellbeing. Our responsible gambling programme is not a checkbox; it is a core product feature.
Technology Without Complexity
From crypto wallets to live dealer streaming, we adopt technology that genuinely improves the player experience — and we make sure it works flawlessly on mid-range Android phones running on Malaysian 4G networks, not just on premium hardware.
What Sets Poker88 Apart
Six commitments that define the Poker88 experience for Malaysian players.
Instant Local Payments
Touch 'n Go eWallet, Boost, DuitNow, and GrabPay deposits credit your account in seconds. FPX bank transfers via Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks, Public Bank, and Hong Leong Connect arrive in 5–15 minutes. Minimum deposit is just RM30 — no barriers to entry.
Cryptocurrency Deposits Welcomed
Poker88 was among the first Malaysian platforms to fully integrate Bitcoin (BTC) and USDT TRC-20 deposits. Crypto transactions settle in minutes with industry-low fees and complete financial privacy — ideal for players who prefer decentralised finance.
6-Tier VIP Loyalty Programme
From Bronze entry level to the invitation-only Royal Black Diamond tier, every bet you place earns loyalty points and cashback. VIP members enjoy faster withdrawals, personal account managers, birthday bonuses up to MYR 2,688, and exclusive tournament access.
Verified Fair Gaming
All games on Poker88 carry independently verified RTP rates. Our slots library spans classic 3-reel games through Megaways and cascading-reel titles, all from licensed international studios. Live casino games use certified Random Number Generator (RNG) technology where applicable, and live dealer tables stream from professionally managed studios 24/7.
24/7 Malaysian Support
Our support team operates around the clock on Malaysia Time (GMT+8). Whether you have a withdrawal question at midnight or a bonus query on a Liga Super matchday, live chat, email, and WhatsApp support are always available. Most issues are resolved in under 15 minutes.
Responsible Gambling Commitment
Poker88 enforces strict 21+ age verification and provides self-exclusion tools, deposit limits, session time controls, and loss caps. We actively promote problem gambling helplines including Talian Kasih 15999. Healthy, sustainable play is the only kind we want to support.
Our Commitment to Malaysia
Poker88 is not a generic international platform that has been localised for Malaysia as an afterthought. It was built from the ground up with the Malaysian player in mind — from the choice of payment gateways to the sports markets we prioritise.
We know that football is more than a sport in Malaysia — it's a national conversation. That's why our sportsbook covers Liga Super Malaysia in full, alongside every EPL fixture, UEFA Champions League match, and major UFC event. Live in-play betting means you can react to that 87th-minute penalty in real time, right from Shah Alam or Bangsar.
We display all account balances in MYR. Our customer service team communicates in natural English suited to Malaysian users. Our promotions are structured around Malaysian banking hours and local public holidays. And when we say "instant deposit," we mean instant — not "instant after business hours processing."
We also recognise our responsibility as an operator in a sensitive space. Poker88 maintains comprehensive responsible gambling tools and cooperates with industry best practices for player protection. We are committed to being a platform that Malaysian players can trust not just for entertainment, but for honesty and safety.
